2010年日本八千代市 ，小学教师市川新市（哀川翔 饰）功不成名不就，老婆有外遇 ，女儿又在做援助交际。事业生活一团糟的市川无力改变这一切 ，只能采取逃避现实的态度来对待 。他念念不忘34年前电视台播放的超人剧集《斑马人》 ，那个似乎无所不能的英雄曾令他振奋不已。夜深人静之时 ，市川一个人躲在房间里缝制斑马人的战斗服，然后偷偷穿出去体验超人的感觉 。 与此同时，市内接连出现奇怪事件 ，一群邪恶的外星人盯上了地球 ，而八千代正是他们活动的据点。地球危在旦夕 ，正义的斑马人会不会出现呢 ？ 本片为哀川翔参演的第100部电影的纪念之作。
