日本大企业的总裁因为突发心脏病而去世 ，该企业唯一的合法继承人是一个名叫阿美的女孩 ，此时阿美正在香港度假 ，对日本发生的一切一无所知。熊谷想要将企业收购已久 ，如此良机怎能让阿美给破坏 ？如果阿美不在规定的时间里签署继承文件，她就将丧失继承的资格 ，于是，熊谷派出了杀手前往香港，千方百计的阻挠阿美回国。 还不知道自己大难临头的阿美在香港结识了业余歌手谭宝（谭咏麟 饰）和looser乐队的一干人等 ，彼此之间相处的非常的愉快。很快，杀手就抵达了香港，对阿美发起了第一轮进攻 ，乐队的肥佬祥（陈百祥 饰）更是被杀手捉住，要他说出阿美的下落 。
